It appeared that Gunther had joined a group of squirrels to celebrate the return of the rum last night. Since he was a bit indisposed, Mary jumped in to take care of several room service orders. It wasn't particular difficult, just a plate of scrambled eggs and toast going to the third floor, a grilled cheese sandwich and iced tea going to the fourth floor, and a health nut on the seventh floor who wanted some wacky smoothie made with green apples and romaine lettuce.

But when the health nut opened his room door wearing nothing but a towel, Mary could see that he was doing something right to get his lean muscular physique. She stood there gawking for a minute before handing over the smoothie. Then she fled without saying a word. She would be mentally chastising herself all day for getting all tongue-tied at the sight of six-pack abs. Clearly, it had been way too long since she'd been to Las Vegas.
