Fandom High Lacrosse Club, The Park, Tuesday After Classes
Jackson had been kind of a recluse since last week. It was the kind of thing that happened when you went to your ex-girlfriend's birthday party and the next thing you remembered was staring down at your hands and arms covered in dried blood up to your elbows. It took effort and solitude to repress that.
So it was a slightly more subdued Jackson than usual that stood in front of the lacrosse club in the park this afternoon. No disdainful smugness today. For the most part, his expression was pretty neutral. And no, he didn't want to talk about it.
"Back to basics today," he said, keeping things simple. "Practice passes, either with a partner or with a target on a tree. Keep moving."
