Victor had a gopher. A Topher-Gopher.
Still.
And as it turned out, Topher-Gophers were not the best at understanding "don't chew on that" or "hey, that's mine" or "cabrón, if you eat an entire bag of Doritos, you're gonna throw up." In fact, judging from Topher, there was an excellent reason pet gophers were not a growth industry.
Which meant Victor spent a lot of his shift today trying to keep the Topher-gopher from either burrowing in the cabinets or chewing the wiring in the store to shreds. Finally he started streaming some reality show about prairie dogs on his laptop, which seemed to settle the gopher down a bit.
The repair shop was totally open -- if distracted.
