After the clusterfuck of class earlier in the day, Derek just had one place to be before he could hide in his room and not talk to anyone. Ever again at this rate.

If he was hugged one more time, he would---be very happy.

Damn this day.

So, that would be why Derek was attempting to hide at the end of the bar, cleaning glasses. He could only hope no one came in today.

Stiles knew it wasn't the best idea to show up to the bar tonight. He was well aware of what was going on. He knew that and he was here anyway. Because he was a glutton for punishment and couldn't resist. If any one asked he was...showing Derek his hair...or something.

Wait, no he'd have to tell the truth. Goddammit. Well he was here now, too late to turn back.

"Hi."

There was no hiding from him, Derek!

"No." That would so help this situation. "Your hair looks good."

GODDAMNIT

Ha, this was great. "Thanks! Everyone is saying that. Mike said it's gonna get me laid."

Mike was clearly a great influence.

"Mike thinks about sex too much. Sex is evil." He had the best issues every, didn't he?

"Evil, Derek, really?" So it wasn't an exaggeration, Derek really was that dramatic.

"My family died because I was fooled by a pretty face," he hissed, trying to hit his head on the wall. "Why are you here?"

"I like being around you." Okay. Coming here might have been a mistake.

Priestly normally spent his Wednesday nights at home anxiously anticipating the latest episode of Paranormal. But today was not a normal Wednesday, and he wanted a drink he didn't pour himself or buy from a teenager.

"Yo," he said as he came in. "I'd order a double whiskey or something to seem more manly, but I'd really rather have something fruity, possibly in a ridiculous cup."

Yeeeeeah.

"You're getting Midori because I don't know how to make any special drinks," Derek replied. Because he didn't like people being around him when he had to be honest.

"You got any mixers for that?" Priestly asked. "'Cause I'm an incredible lightweight. And I really wish I hadn't just told you that."

"Everyone is a lightweight compared to me," Derek informed him with an annoyed huff. "I can't get drunk, so I think everyone is dumb when they do because it makes me feel better."

"I'm assuming that mean's you're an alcoholic," Priestly said. "Which means I'm trying very hard not to judge you, because I try to be a good person, but I kind of am."

"I'm a werewolf, not an alcoholic," he said through gritted teeth.

"Oh," Priestly said. "I don't entirely understand how that makes it so you can't get drunk, but I can roll with it. You do have a very lone wolf sort of personality."

Jaina ~~hadn't been tortured yet today~~ hadn't realized anything was going on yet today, otherwise she might have just stayed home.

"Can I get a rum and Coke?" she said. "I won't finish it at all."

"Then why order it?" Derek demanded. Even though he'd very much like to stay silent.

"Because it makes me feel less boring than ordering water but I like to keep my senses sharp in case anything invades or tries to kill me," she explained, frowning.

She'd been through this twice before, she'd clue in fast.

"Get a beer and nurse it all night. That's what I do to get people to leave me alone even though I could drink a bottle of whiskey and not feel it."

Derek hated you, Jaina.

"I wish I could do that. I'd feel better in social situations," Jaina said. "Why don't you feel it?"

"I heal too quickly to get a buzz," Derek ground out. "And I'm going to pretend to need to clean dishes because you remind me too much of my sister right now."

"I'm guessing that's a bad thing, and I'm sorry, but I also have to ask why I remind you of her," Jaina said. "...Oh, so it's one of those days."
