Emily wasn't thinking about yesterday, but she was just arriving from the mainland, which was turning out to be the one place she ended up retreating when things went south. And as much as she had decided to take things with all the grace she could, it had been a pretty frustrating night.

So Emily had blissfully lost most of the day's events, perhaps for the best, considering she was in no mood to deal with little brats. She had found her way to the park, and was now wandering in silence; she couldn't go to the beach every time she felt like going away after all.

Emily's thoughts were cut short by her complaining stomach. "Maybe I should get something to eat."
