Caritas, Saturday

Apparently, Tino thought April was a crappy fake mom. So did the zombie musicians. They were pretty sure of it, actually.

All because April's eight-year-old kid with some lady she'd never heard of was here at Caritas tonight, doing her homework while sitting at the bar.

Look, April hadn't been about to leave the kid at her apartment alone, and at least here she could make the kid crappy virgin fruity drinks so she'd be quiet. Actually, that business strategy applied to anyone who stopped by tonight.

Hillary wasn't a huge fan of math, but she was toughing out this homework. Partly because the Shirley Temple April had given her with whipped cream on top was so delicious that Hillary would do just about anything to guarantee being given another one.

She still preferred Take Your Daughter To Work Day when she got to go to the Parks Department, though.

That was a nice and simple request. April reached for a bottle and set it on the bar, sliding it over to Laura.

Jane had had about enough of her "cousins" about five seconds after meeting them, but they did keep her dad busy enough not to notice when she slipped out.

Ooo, look a bar. "Martini," she ordered. Those seemed pretty classy. "Dry." She slapped the bar. "Make it snappy."

Stiles had managed to shake Haley (or Haley had allowed himself to be ditched, rather) and he managed to find his way to the bar. The one that would allow him to drink and attempt to forget the word knotting ever existed.

Little did he know no amount of booze would make that happen.

He grabbed a beer from Tino and took a seat next to the pretty girl he didn't recognize. "You're not saving this spot, are you? 'Cause I'll totally move."
