The Perk, Saturday Morning
Raven had come back to Fandom from Glacia with everyone else, but unlike some of the others, she was still completely her normal self. And blissfully unaware of any AU shenanigans as she woke up in the hotel and headed to the Perk for some tea.

Deciding he might as well make the best of it, he headed out in search of coffee.
"Fucking fantastic," he muttered darkly, staring at the coffee-flavoured block of ice his drink had become the moment he'd laid his hands on it. "Can this day get any worse?"

"Hello," she said. "What troubles you? Can I help in some way?"

But no, aside from the dark clothes and the complexion (which Ty was also rocking, it happened), she really didn't look much like Eva at all. And her words didn't come with an undercurrent of malice the way Eva's had, either.
"I doubt it," he said, making an effort to smile. "Just one of those mornings, you know?"

"I am Raven," she introduced herself. "I graduated last year. Are you new to the island?"

And he hadn't had his coffee yet.
At least those were things that were remedied easily enough, if Umbridge was out of the picture. The coffee shop seemed to be open and safe enough to visit, after all. And the sky was wide and blue, with no indication that leaving would be difficult for him.
He'd take care of his need for coffee first, and then debate how badly he wanted to risk staying on the island, knowing Karla was here, once he had caffeine in his syst--
"You."
Apparently, Karla wasn't the only familiar face here that he hadn't seen in some time. He wasn't going to hesitate before unsheathing his wings with a metallic ringing sound, eyes narrowing at Raven where she was sitting and nothing but pure loathing radiating from where he was standing.
He didn't much want coffee after all.

"Warren?" she said. "How...?"

Also, wondering what the hell kind of fae was blue. With wings. And what was up with being out where humans could see him? And why the hell weren't they reacting to him?
So yes, there might be staring going on. But it's nothing personal.

Why was that so difficult around here?
"You must be new," he said, idly, as he took his coffee cup from the somewhat stunned-looking barista, barely glancing in Tamsin's direction. "You're staring."
People who were familiar with the island didn't tend to do that. Or, at least, not back on the one he was used to. He had no idea how this one differed in that regard.

It helped that he was also rich. People tended to want to stay on your good side, when you had billions of dollars and they didn't.
And also when you had weapons grafted to your back. Funny, that.

Going off to find coffee had to help, right? Didn't it?
She was debating giving the barista a death glare at the moment. Need. Coffee.
[Dinah is now Tamsin the Dark Fae Valkyrie from Lost Girl, yay!]

"Dinah?" she said cautiously.

"I am sorry," Raven said. "You very much resemble a friend of mine." And probably woke up in her bed that morning.
Well, at least she wasn't threatening to kill her.

To be fair, it wasn't like she ever paid much attention to who was on Fandom island when she came back here; they were almost all new people. All her friends had scattered as soon as they could. And the people who weren't friendly... Well, they didn't make a habit of returning to Fandom Island, that Momoko had knowledge of, at least. That would be too easy.
So Momoko wasn't really expecting to find her main quarry actually sitting a table or so away as she sat down to drink her tea and wake up.
[Momoko is her Umbridge!self, with short hair and not as cheery a disposition.]

"Hello, Momoko," she said, bracing herself.

Momoko's hand stopped abruptly, the tea spilling slightly over the brim of her cup as it did. She visibly tensed for a second or two before forcibly calming herself.
Lowering the cup to table, Momoko raised her head but didn't turn to look Raven in the eyes. She didn't need to; Raven knew Momoko was both afraid and yet not. Was probably even reveling in the conflicting emotions she was getting from her. "I heard you were active again, leaving a trail. But I never suspected I'd find you here of all places."

Not that he was particularly loyal to anyone, these days.
Warren sat in a chair-turned-sideways, and casually sipped at his drink.

A quick glance confirmed that he at least appeared to be the Warren she knew. A little more conversation would prove it, but she had that feeling... "I didn't expect to see you here, Warren. Business?"
Could she be any more on her guard?
no subject
He took a sip of his coffee.
"It's inconvenient, mostly. After all, I do have actual business to attend to back home. Board meetings, a company to run. But if this is how Fandom wants to be, I suppose there's nothing for it."
