Fandom Post Office, April 30 (Tuesday)
In general, Éponine tried to take Fandom's bouts of extreme whimsy in stride. Troublesome and strange as those incidents might be, they never really seemed as bad to her as most of her childhood had been.
This last weekend's events, though, had her in a fairly morose mood today. Not because the person she'd been was so very different from who she usually was, but because she was so similar. The only real differences between Éponine and this Nancy person, whoever she was, were the places they were from and the way they looked.
Suffice to say that Éponine felt fairly cheated by how much she'd come out the loser in the latter category, and had decided that this was the universe's way of continuing to judge her, so if you happened to come into the post office at any point today while she was there, you'd find a rather quiet, sullen girl behind the counter, pointedly avoiding any shiny surfaces in which she might see her reflection.
Sorry about that in advance.
