William had spent the past few weeks researching lie detecting devices, and was finally ready to attempt assembling one on his own.

As per usual with most of his projects, he was careful to limit himself to the kinds of materials that would be readily available once he returned to his own time period. He was also, of course, taking extensive notes so that in case he couldn't bring the actual project back with him (assuming it worked), he'd be able to replicate it.

So, yes, Stark Industries is open, although potential customers might be roped into helping test the lie detector out.
