Stark Industries [Monday, May 20, 2013, after classes]

Cade was behind the counter with a bottle of something that definitely wasn't just fruit juice.

Stupid class with Ender.

He was there and he'd want his paycheck, but expecting friendly customer service was out.

But then, if you wanted friendly customer service, why did you come the day Cade worked anyway?

Not for the service, that was for sure. "That's not orange juice," Emily noted as she walked in, frowning but also smiling.

"I am so writing that one down," Emily said as she laughed a bit. "So, it's just a hunch but maybe you aren't familiar with the 'it's five o'clock somewhere' way of thinking...so is there a special reason for the early refreshments?"

"I think I saw you talking wit Professor Wiggin on my way out," Emily noted a she leaned in the counter. "He is pretty sharp, I'll give him that." It was interesting to lie her way around someone like that.
