The cooks were being insanely noisy in the kitchen today. When Gert ducked back there to see what was going on after half an hour of just trying to ignore it, she found the cooks situated around a really long noodle, holding it delicately in their hands while another cook stretched a measuring tape across it.
"One hundred!" someone yelled, and they all cheered.
"I'm gonna try not to take this as a penis metaphor," Gert informed them, then returned to the counter.
