Stark Industries, Saturday
It was kind of a slow day at the shop until a little kid from the mainland brought in a yo-yo and asked Jessica to fix it. While it really wasn't a yo-yo repair shop or anything, Jessica didn't have much else to do, so she took the job.
And then she found out that the problem with it was WAY too many knots on the string. It wasn't long before Jessica started looking for string around the shop because the existing one was not salvageable.

There was a tiny flash of sparks, then: "It's me," Victor said, not moving an inch from his hiding place. "Um. Hi. What do you mean, you had to report it?"
He was pretty sure he knew what she meant, but it was always good to have such miserable suspicions confirmed.

"Guess I can't be mad about your dedication to the news," he said sarcastically. "So, is this a place in our friendship where you'd toss me the clothes I have in the cabinet with the busted keyboards?"
He'd brought in a change of clothes after the whole ballgown incident. It seemed like a wise idea.

It was a decision he was glad of.
The clothes in the cabinet weren't anything special, just a t-shirt and shorts. He hadn't been quite paranoid enough to stash shoes.
"By the way, what day is it?"

"That's about the whole story," he said. "I was fixing something and accidentally dumped motor oil all down my front. I wanted to get changed, and Jarvis said the only clothes here were this princess dress. I'm, y'know, secure in my masculinity, so ..." He shrugged, face finally through the neckhole of his shirt. "Maddie and Tony saw me."
He'd get back to how he missed a whole week in a moment.

He was a little proud of himself for that one. Unfortunately.

He made an illustrative little gesture with his hands, tumbling them one over the other.
"Besides that all you really care about is how far you can go in a straight line. I got caught under chairs a couple times."
