The causeway and into town- Thursday morning

It was fairly early Fandom time when six young pe- when six people, five of them young- made their way to the causeway to get their first look at the island, and the castle, oh my god, the castle for the very first time.

Well, the very first time for reals. They'd all totally seen the castle a ton of times in establishing shots but it was so much different getting to see it up close. And to take pictures to put directly onto Tumblr and Instagram.

"OH MY GOD, YOU GUYS, WE'RE HERE!" said the bossiest, the one they called Megan. "WE'RE REALLY REALLY HERE, FOR REALS."

Your fans had landed, Fandom Island. And they so wanted to meet you.

Kelsi made a squeaking noise and immediately pulled out her phone to take a picture of the castle (http://cdn1.vtourist.com/15/5835996-One_of_the_parking_lots_Mont_Saint_Michel.jpg). (okay, so it was really mostly of the causeway parking lot, but the castle was definitely in there.)

"Okay, ohmigod, I so don't even know what to do first," she said. "I kind of wanna find everybody and hug them and tell them how they, like, make my life and ohmigod."

"Yes!" Kara squeaked. "Are we in time for classes?"

"They actually film classes during the school day?" Kelsi asked. "That is so cool. No wonder it all looks so real."

"You should totally get autographs," Megan advised. "And pictures! Soooo many pictures!"

"Totally," Kelsi nodded. "Oooh, and I have to show Stiles and Derek my coffee shop AU fic. They're gonna love it."

... maybe not so much.

Korra was off meditating in the rocky bits, leaving Naga to her own devices for the moment.

So here she was, tail wagging, happily following an interesting scent.

"That looks so fake. You can see the CGI."

Sorry, Naga. You were very pretty and non-CGi.

Naga wasn't sure what that meant, but she could tell when she was being talked about, so she padded over to give the new person a good sniff and possibly a lick.

Could CGI do polar bear dog drool?

Well, that was certainly high pitched.

Naga's ears briefly flattened in pain, not even a wee airbender could produce that sound.

She turned her head towards the person who'd 'called' her name, she couldn't remember meeting them before.

Kelsi squeaked again. She was going to do that a lot.

She was also going to take approximately 84 billion photos. Like the one she was taking of Korra now.

"It even looks like it's breathing," she enthused. "Ohmigod, I need to take a picture of somebody, like, pretending to ride it."

Of course Naga was breathing, Kelsi would be able to tell that for sure, given Naga was coming over to sniff her phone.

"OH MY GOD OH MY GOD OH MY GOD," Megan shrieked, bouncing over. "It's a real polar bear dog. I can't even."

Why was everyone so loud? Naga was perplexed as to why the humans had suddenly gotten shouty.

"Wow, the sets looked way better on camera," Nonny said, deeply unimpressed. Because she was a jaded old woman of seventeen.

"Um, obviously they film on location," Megan pointed out.

"But this is so lame. Couldn't they have made it look better? Like, throw some fake blood around or something?"

Obviously, Astrid was freaking out. "It looks just like my Gimp edits!" she flailed. "Plus it's hot so I bet there'll be tons of shirtlessness!"

Well, now she knew what rumor to start about you.

Hey there now, narrative. Kara preferred to think of herself as "wise in the ways of fandom." And also Fandom.

Proudly wearing her "Original Bel Fangrrl" t-shirt that she sold on her Etsy shop, FYI, she craned her neck around trying to see everything at once. "We've got to get a coffee at the Perk and ask the barista about her life choices. Tino? Come on. Everyone knows he and Tiny are meant to be."

"Um, I wrote an epic barista/Tino fic," Megan pointed out. "It was like forty-seven chapters."

And then she forgot about it. WIP.

"Nobody go anywhere without me. I'll just be a minute. I need the school as my new iPad background," Patrick said. He was bringing up the rear today. More importantly, he was bringing up his iPad to take a photo.

Yeah. He was that guy. He shunned cameras and embraced tablets. Deal with it.
