Work was slowly progressing on repairing the damaged barn. Much to Dani's surprise, her father had loaned her more than enough money to replace the entire roof with enough left over to paint the barn. As Dani brought the horses out to the paddock, she reflected on how lucky she was to easily get the money she needed. But she still had a sinking feeling in her gut as she wondered she what she would have to do to repay the loan. So she was unusually silent as she tended to the horses.
