Today a customer called in the morning to place an order so that he "wouldn't have to wait in line" when he got here, which was fine - she took phone orders sometimes - if a little pointless, since there were rarely lines here. Since today seemed to be even quieter than most days, the kitchen staff was glad to have something to do. But when the guy called back just a few minutes later to change his order right after they'd finished preparing the first one, it got annoying.

Then he did it again ten minutes later. Then again. Eventually Gert allowed one of the cooks to use the landline to call his wife, effectively preventing this weird, weird customer from making any more corrections.
