Bay was thoughtful today, so much so that she forgot to go to work until her phone beeped at her to remind her. The night before, Angelo had called to let her know he'd found the baby and was going to go talk to her dads on Friday, and did Bay want to come along?

And she ... wasn't sure. She wanted to see her only blood sister, but being alone with Angelo was still a little weird. And she wondered if seeing the baby once might hurt worse than never seeing her at all. Plus, it wasn't like St. Louis was next door, and she'd been enjoying the stress-free week before senior year.

She doodled infants in her ever-present sketchbook as she tried to work through all of that.
