With Kitty off helping Stiles and classes on break, Clint found himself with a lot of free time. Mainly, he was spending that time worrying about Kitty being off with Stiles, especially since she said things were getting worse and hadn't been in touch since. He didn't want to text her - if she was busy, she wouldn't be able to respond, and if things were fine he'd look like he didn't trust her to be okay - so he was taking his frustrations out on one of the punching bags and calling it an equipment check.

He did notice one of the Zumba instructors taking pictures of him while he worked out, but he didn't notice she was using his phone to take them. Hopefully, Kitty would appreciate those texts instead.

Most of Natalie's things were packed already, in boxes destined either for Haiti or for Montreal. Guess it was time to gear up to goodbyes.

Which was part of why she turned up here now, looking faintly amused. "Is this proper work attire?"

Clint paused in his punching and leaned a little against the bag, looking down at himself. "I've got pants on, I'm good," he said with a smirk. "You getting ready to head out?"

"Almost packed," she said, shrugging one shoulder. "Supposed to clear out on Friday, in time for the new kids showing up on Saturday."

"Aww, newbies. They'll be fun to talk to," Clint said. "But you'll be missed, definitely."

"I'll still visit." And grow older between visits. "Not too easy to just leave a place you've lived in for two years."

"You'd better visit. I want to hear fun stories," Clint said. "And know if you're keeping up with your archery."

"I'll try to find a range." If she was going to be a teenage assistant to a teenage politician, she might as well keep up with a hobby that was going to seem even more old-fashioned where she was going. "Instruction probably won't be as good, but I'll manage."

"Well, it would be hard to find a better instructor than me," Clint pointed out oh so modestly. "I like that I don't have to worry about you being safe. You know, more than a little."

Natalie smiled a bit, although it was faint, as most of her smiles were. "I'll be fine, Clint. Would-be assassins won't know what hit them."

She wasn't expecting to be a target for attempted assassination, so that was a joke.

"That better be because they're not anywhere near you," Clint said, trying to give her a stern look but probably failing along the way. "It seems like you're going to have a lot of fun though. I hope you do."

"They could be assassins with bows and arrows, that'd put them faw away from me," Natalie quipped, because she could. Then she let that go. "I think it'll be fun, yes."

"Make it fun, and if you can't, come back here or something," Clint said. "I'd offer a hug if that wouldn't be awkward."

"I can take a raincheck on that." How nice of her. "Claim it when it's less sweaty and topless."

Kitty didn't even think to look at her phone until she got back to Stiles'. If she had, she'd have been more concerned that he hadn't been texting her to check up while he'd been all unconscious, actually. So when Clint got back to his phone, he'd find a text waiting for him.
