What said Labor Day more than greasy burgers and curly fries? To be honest Stiles wasn't entirely sure what Labor Day was about but if it gave him an excuse for Derek to pay for his food then he was down. He just had to remember to chew on the one side of his mouth 'cause he woke up with this annoying pain in his back teeth yesterday and it hadn't stopped. Soon he'd realize his wisdom teeth were coming in. That would be fun to deal with.

"I wish curly fries came in a bigger size than extra large."

"...how can you even eat all of them?" Derek was a werewolf and even he was surprised.

"Because they're delicious?" Duh, Derek. Duh.

Of course, Derek stole a fry before leaning back in his seat. "Not bad."

Stiles put his arms around his french fries. "Hey, hey. Get your own damn fries."

"I bought them." That totally meant something, Stiles.

"Yeah, you bought them for me," he said. "That means they're mine and mine only. You don't mess with a man's curly fries, okay?"

Derek raised his eyebrows at that. Because they were fries.

"It's a sacred thing," he said, before popping a fry in his mouth. Which was a mistake because he chewed with the wrong side of his mouth. "Goddammit."

"Do I want to know?" Werewolves had impeccable dental hygiene.

[robinonadderall]

"My back teeth hurt on one side," he grumbled, putting his hand up to his jaw. "I don't know what it is, but it's pissing me off."

Derek just sighed. "Go to the clinic."

"I'm kind of hoping if I just ignore it it'll go away." Just like his bad dreams, his crush on Derek and everything else that bothered him in life.

Just learn to repress like Derek did. God.

"And when you get an infection I'm going to make fun of you."

"Pfft we both know that's a lie." You'd hover, Derek. You'd hover and be a nag.

"Yeah, sure." Nobody was believing that, Derek. Nobody. "If it still hurts in a few days then I'll go to a dentist. Happy?"

"Sure." HE DIDN'T CARE, STILES. NOT AT ALL. NOW LET HIM FIND YOU MUSHY FOOD.

Ugh. So much applesauce will be eaten.

"You're totally happy," Stiles said. "Ecstatic, even."

"Damn right you are," he said, poking at his burger. "So are you taking me somewhere for dessert?"

Derek sighed like this was such a big hardship. "I got you burgers."

To get you out of the house and stop the moping over your blindingly obvious nightmares.

"So you want me to pay for dessert?" Weren't you supposed to be his sugar daddy, Derek?
