Fandom Post Office, September 17 (Tuesday)
There was a fox in the post office today. Éponine had no idea why, or how it had gotten there, but it was strutting around like it was incredibly proud of its appearance. It would occasionally sniff at the supplies in curiosity, or sit in front of the counter and look expectant, as if it wanted someone to help it.
She doubted it was normally a person -- at least, she hoped it wasn't -- but she'd be keeping a close eye on it regardless. For one thing, it reminded her of Montparnasse, which as far as she was concerned was reason enough not to trust it to do something like, say, try and steal the NOW HIRING sign in the window.
. . . it was still cute, though.
