When Bay got to work today, the dishwasher -- the cute one with the tattoo, not the one with the missing teeth -- was giving her the eye. And after half an hour rolling silverware, filling ketchup bottles and daydreaming, she was giving him the eye right back.
And then half an hour after that, she was back at the counter with flushed cheeks, ponytail decidedly askew, and a whole new appreciation for dishpan hands.
"So," she said aloud. "That was different."
