By the Causeway, Saturday morning
Jessica hadn't been expecting any visits from anyone this Parents Weekend since, you know, she didn't really have parents or family or anything. But then she got a text from President Cap.
Miles will be visiting for the weekend. Please help him out.
Which was weird. She hadn't seen Miles in months. She hadn't heard from anyone in SHIELD in longer. Still, she made her way up to a roof with a cup of coffee bright and early in the morning and waited for him. When she finally saw him walking across the Causeway, she shot him a text.
Tall building, roof.
She wasn't expecting the response she got.
No. Ground.
She rolled her eyes and sighed. Kids, right?
Roof. It's a great view.
She saw him stop, look up, and text back.
I'm not doing this.
One more sigh and Jessica made sure nobody was looking before hopping off the roof and swinging down to meet Miles. "If you're worried that somebody would spot you, there's no need. You're good enough, and everyone's too wrapped up in their own guest drama this morning. How're you doing?"
He just shoved his hands in his pockets and shrugged.
"Miles? What's going on?"
[OOC: Please ignore the webswinging since I won't be reporting that about myself anyway. Specifics of the conversation between Jessica and Miles is NFB, please. Otherwise, open and for broadcast!]
