Jack had realized Thanksgiving fell during Hanukkah this year, and spent much of his downtime at the club trying to think of a cocktail that would combine the best parts of both holidays. So far, it was down to either a series of eight fruit-and-nut flavored shots or a flaming drink made with pumpkin pie liquor.

The club was open, and the DJ had managed to assemble a set list for the night that only mildly hurt Jack's ears.
