Demon Marcus, Sunday
You had better believe that Sparkle had spent most of his morning before work poking around for those little lockboxes full of money. For the first two, he'd been half-convinced it was some sort of trap, but when nothing happened he decided to chalk it up to Fandom whimsy, and he went right to town. It was after a couple of hours of this that he finally let the loud, obnoxious vending machine draw him over. There was no way there were actual guns in there, right? Not with one of those things sitting in the lobby of the dorms and all?
It was pure curiosity that had him slipping some money into the machine - it wasn't like he couldn't just find more later if it was a waste - to see what the machine was really vending.
... Evidently, it was vending guns. Weirdly enough, Sparkle hadn't seen that coming. And... it was a gun. He couldn't just throw the thing in the garbage can or something, that would've been stupid, so now he was spending his shift at Demon Marcus sitting at the counter, giving paranoid glances at the backpack at his feet. The one he'd tucked the revolver into until after his shift, when he'd just take it to the weapons store in town or dump it in the weapons locker or abandon it at the shooting range or...
He had no freaking clue. But this was way too damn weird for him to want anything to do with it, that was for certain.
