Bruce walked into the bar, took a seat, saw the gun, and looked back up to confirm who the owner was.

"I don't think I was all that worried about these vending machines until now," he deadpanned.

"Would you like an Elephant Gun, Mr. Wayne?" Kenzi asked, unfazed. She held up her ray-gun-whatever-it-was, and said thoughtfully, "If I haven't shot the zombies or Tino yet, I'm thinking you're pretty safe."

"Wait, you're listing drinks, aren't you?" Bruce checked. "I was starting to worry that you'd become an arms dealer."

"Yup!... and I'd be way more discreet if I were selling arms. Although you can get one of these for about ten bucks this week." Kenzi gave it a considering look. "I'm not really sure what it does." Yet!

"It shoots things," Bruce reasoned. "But that's just a guess."

"Yes, but does it shoot bubble gum? Magic rays? Bullets I don't have? Questions I'm going to wonder about. Maybe I'll take it out toe the Preserve tomorrow." 'Cause that was guaranteed to end well. "So, you want bourbon, or scotch, or a Shirley Temple?"

"I'll go with a scotch," Bruce said. "And I'll also ask for assurances that you'll be safe with that thing, okay?"

"Scotch it is." Kenzi climbed up and pulled down a bottle of the good stuff, pouring it into a faceted glass for him. "And surely. I'll find someone to go with me. In case the teal deer get restless."

"I'm less worried about the deer and more worried about the gun itself," Bruce said. "That thing looks dangerous."

"I like that about it. Well, the looking dangerous. We'll see if it's a dud or not later." Kenzi grinned and poured herself a Diet Coke. "So how's the billionaire biz?"

"It's treating me well overall," Bruce said "I have a couple people working at my foundation here in town now." One of whom he had already encouraged to work against these vending machines. Ahem.

"The foundation of helping people out and... making money?" Kenzi could not for the life of her remember what she'd heard about that before.

"The money-making arm is Wayne Enterprises. That's back in Gotham City, making plenty of money without me having to do too much," Bruce said. "The Wayne Foundation is just about helping people."

"I'm all for that," Kenzi said agreeably. "Soup kitchens? Libraries? Heating in subway tunnels?"

"Yes. Not yet around here, but probably soon. And no. But that's largely because subway tunnels are already below the frost line and tend not to need much additional heating," Bruce pointed out.
