JGOB, Friday Early Afternoon
Éponine ordinarily stopped in at the Perk whenever she decided to indulge her craving for a nice, hot, extra-chocolatey mocha, but she'd caught the barista eyeing her suspiciously a couple of days ago and -- despite not having had any designs on stealing any of the sugar packets that time -- had decided it might be best to avoid the place for a little while.
She was still mildly resentful, but nothing to be done about it, really. She got looks like that much less these days, and anyhow the suspicion wasn't entirely baseless since she had stolen sugar from the Perk a few times. Just not that particular time. She liked the food at J,GoB better anyway (or so she tried to justify it to herself), so it was fine.
Except, that was, for the fact that she had asked for a sandwich on a pretzel roll, not a flatbread wrap. And technically it was still on a pretzel roll; it was just . . . much flatter than usual.
Whatever. It still tasted fine.
[OOC: Open? Well, yes.]

It was safe to say Dean was not enjoying today's oddities. He did, however, notice the hot French chick. And gave her a smile.

She paused and inspected the bakery case a bit more carefully.
"Cleaner, though, so there's that at the least."

She'd agree with him on the blood, though. Because ew.

A distant, vaguely uncomfortable look crossed her face before she shook it off.
"-- or drag water by the bucketful in the middle of winter. That's one thing I like about these washing machines, even if they do cost money. Goodness, if it comes to that I'll wash it for you, if you like."
Look, she'd learned how to use the laundromat. It was an accomplishment. She was allowed to brag a little bit.

In case he left a knife in his pants or something. His life was special.
"But I wouldn't mind the company."

"Is that so?" Éponine looked amused. "You've an odd sense of fun, if that's the case."
Which was not to say odd was bad.

"I could," she remarked, "say yes only because I've got plans to make off with your things."
She wouldn't (most likely), but she'd still consider it. Habit.

Éponine raised an eyebrow at him. "Still so sure, then?"

Even if it was fun. What? It was.

"As if you haven't thought of a few already!"
