Fandom Post Office, December 31 (Tuesday)

They wouldn't be open tomorrow, so today Éponine was busy taking down all the holiday-themed posters ("Thank goodness, now that stupid snowdrift won't be in the way any more, taking up space and being a nuisance," she exclaimed out loud when she took down that particular poster) and making sure the new calendars were put up.

She kept coming back to stare at the last page of the current calendar still up on the wall behind the counter, though; she'd drift over from whatever she was doing, look up at it thoughtfully, and seem to get lost in her thoughts for several moments before she came back to herself with a sharp laugh and went back to the task at hand.

She was going to see the year 2014. How completely impossible that would have seemed to her less than a year ago.
