Bay was rather preoccupied when she got to work today. She'd gotten permission from the office moose to take an art class at one of the mainland universities, and she was going to spend the few days before her first class alternately spazzing from excitement ... and spazzing because she was convinced she'd make a fool of herself in front of the college kids.

Midway through the morning, she glanced to her side and noticed another girl with long brown hair, looking rather ill and sneezing over her mug of tea.

"Oh hey," she said. "New kitchen staff? Y'know, if you're sick you should probably stay home."

The girl didn't answer, even when Bay waved a hand in front of her face. She just kept coughing in between sips of tea,

Bay shrugged it off as another weird kitchen staff prank and went to wipe off some tables. When she made it back to the counter, the girl had left as silently as she arrived.

"Creeeeeepy," Bay decided softly.
