Boards Theatre - Late Friday night, All Day Saturday
"Now it's linens?! How can we be out of linens, Frank. I don't... I don't understand that." Drac rubbed his forehead as he paced the office floor and spoke into the phone. "It's a hotel. We have extra extra spare linens."
Well, that was actually because Drac was OCD, but he believed it was Status: Hotel, Normal.
He listened a moment, nodding. "Yes. Yes, I see. The Bog monster family reunion does usually run us out of clean..."
...
"Oh." More nodding. "...Wait, what? Why would a poltergeist convention ruin the rest of the... A costume ball?!" Drac's face went slack and he facepalmed. "Of course. No, you couldn't have known they would all dress up as ghosts. No, we can't very well use them! They have holes in them! No. I'll call and order more linens. No, you're not fired. I'm just..."
FREAKING OUT!!! WHAT WAS HAPPENING TO HIS HOTEL?!?
"concerned about things. No, Frank; other things. Right. I will call you later with more information."
And so, there was an emotionally distraught vampire in the theatre hiding his twitchyness about the mess his poor poor hotel was becoming in his absence by checking inventory andOCD-ing puttering about.
Oh, and despite all the troubleshis mun he was having, he finally had signs up that auditions were open:
Come in and audition!
[OCD minimal because I am brain dead and Drac doesn't know what he's doing. AU and AU!NPC auditioners welcome!]

| Casting Call for Sour Grapes Of Death One year ago, Robert Killingsworth bought the farm. Six months later, he was dead, leaving his widow Elizabeth to tend to their fledgling vineyard and winery on the outskirts of California’s wine country. With mounting debts and no idea how to run a business, Elizabeth is desperate to sell the farm and recoup her losses. The fierce drought and shaky economy, however, have left Killingsworth Farm on the market for far too long. One autumn day, seven people passed through the gates of Killingsworth Farm to see Elizabeth. One of them, Detective Yu discovers, is the last person Elizabeth ever sees. AUDITIONS OPEN |

Arrive!
If you show up and it's still late Friday... He has some roasted scorpion trailmix and NearBlood in his office?
Re: Arrive!
Re: Arrive!
Re: Arrive!
What? It was. And his own was, you know, the same way he totally always wore it. Down, and loosely styled in that 'couldn't be bothered' scruffy kind of look.
Re: Arrive!
"Thanks. So what are hoping for on roles this time?" She studied him a minute, and then asked, for no reason she could explain, "Have you ever thought of wearing some eyeliner?"
Re: Arrive!
He really couldn't picture it, himself.
"As for roles... I'm not sure. I'm not exactly familiar with the play. It's a murder mystery, though, isn't it? I'd be happy with anything that gives me a bit of a challenge, I think. All the better for audition material down the road, when I finally get my college applications in, you know?"
Re: Arrive!
And now she was off her perch and stretching, because that reminded her of her *own* audition in two weeks, and that made her nervous, and that meant moving. And practicing positions and some arm movements.
"I just need something to fill in the time before audition season starts up on the mainland."

AUDITION!
Parts are here! (http://bluhblahbluh.livejournal.com/2972.html)
Re: AUDITION!
He stepped up on the stage, smiling faintly. He hadn't been on a stage for community theatre since he was still back in Toronto.
"Hey. I'm Sparks Kirby. Well, technically it's Sparkle, but Sparks looks better on a program."
Technically Sparks looked better anywhere.
Re: AUDITION!
Drac sat back and reached for his clipboard. "Welcome, Mr Kirby. It sounds like you have some experience with the theater?"
Re: AUDITION!
There was a moment's pause.
"And yeah, that really is my name."
He kind of got that raised eyebrow thing a lot. He was pretty resigned to it.
Re: AUDITION!
"So. Acting for a living? That sounds like you might have some talent," Drac chuckled. "What are you auditioning for today?"
Re: AUDITION!
He figured he was probably a little too scrawny to really play up Enrique well, which was unfortunate. That character looked like fun, too.
"Would you like a monologue, or should I read from the script? I do have a monologue prepared."
Re: AUDITION!
"A monologue would be fine; we can always do a few lines for confirmation, if we need to."

DRAC IS HERE! Talk to Drac!
Re: Talk to Drac or the Assistants!
You know. A head.
//Morning, mate. How goes the battle today?//
Re: Talk to Drac or the Assistants!
Well, that had been his intention. This island was AWESOME at flabberghasting the vampire.
It took a few moments of staring, sorry Jonothon, before Drac was able to say anything. "You're wearing an armet. (http://visual.merriam-webster.com/society/weapons/armor/armet.php)"
Not really words worth waiting for, sorry.
Re: Talk to Drac or the Assistants!
Since he'd had it for years, now.
Re: Talk to Drac or the Assistants!
"And I thought you said you had the fire when you lived on the island for school?"

Something about this gave her a headache, but... no big.
Re: Talk to Drac or the Assistants!
He did have to wonder, though... "Last production, you weren't interested. Is there something different about this play?"
