Luke's, Sunday
Sheba wasn't sure why the kitchen staff thought "all day brunch" was such a strange concept. Surely her male counterpart had been as into breakfast foods as she was? It was the most important meal of the day! Even if you happened to be eating it for dinner! Sunday brunch was just the world's way of crying out for more opportunities to eat scrambled egg and 15 different varieties of carbohydrates.
Plus, you know, mimosas. Mimosas were an important part of any balanced breakfast.
Today's specials
Omelette bar
Breakfast burrito bar
Mimosa bar
Luke's was open. And rather full of delicious fats and sugars.

Talk to Sheba

Made with club soda, this time. She didn't want to be totally trashed by closing.

She came back with one of her own, with champagne in it, and took a big sip. "So, not just you." Which meant her Priestly might suddenly come back? Or come back with wings or something? "Hunh. I'm so listening to all the Radio podcasts before I leave. This mostly seems harmless."
Except for how her best friend was still missing, even though she had a newish best friend, and that had to be weirding Sheba out still. "You doing okay?"

"I'm gonna check in more often now. Just to be sure you're okay." Dinah took another bite of her burrito, and chewed glumly. "In other news, my bosses aren't going to be able to hire me full-time after graduation, so. I'm back on the job hunt."

Aside from bouncing off the walls for forty hours a week.
"Or move back in with Barbara." Which would be defeat. Damnit.

"Okay, point." She took another sip of her mimosa, and nodded. "Momo suggested a I bust up a bank robbery to get some attention, but I don't think P.I.'s are supposed to be that high-profile. Guess I'll just have to pound the pavement for a while."
Part of her wanted to invite Sheba for a visit. And then another part of her was missing Priestly too much to do that.
Re: Talk to Sheba
Or, you know, Sheba, when she had a lot of shifts available at Luke's. Shush.
Re: Talk to Sheba
That probably sounded pretty damn wistful and worried.
