Conversational Lithuanian, Tuesday evening
Hannibal had scrubbed up a bit quickly before class, but there was still a bit of paint under his nails, which he was picking at. His manicurist would be horrified, but that was why he paid her to put up with him. He was wearing a very expensive and stylish blazer, a white button-up, and leather pants with a well-worn pair of lace-up Doc Martens. He was sitting on the desk, and nodded and smiled as the others filed in.
"Bonsoir! I thought tonight we would be hopeful and go over a bit of Spring vocabulary." He made a face at the weather. "On the assumption that eventually it will grace us with its presence."
He hopped up and wrote on the board:
"J'espère que nous aurons l'occasion d'utiliser ces mots bientôt! What are you all hoping for in Spring?"
Yeah, if you were hoping for Lithuanian, you'd probably have to try somewhere else.
[OOC: Yep, still Artiste!Hannibal. He grew up in France; why would he speak Lithuanian? His Russian's much worse, too, but his German and Spanish are better!]

Listen to the lecture, ask questions
Re: Listen to the lecture, ask questions
Not that Kenzi had anything against French. Just. What happened to Lithuania? On the other hand: great shoes, Doc.
Re: Listen to the lecture, ask questions
...
Actually, he couldn't disapprove of the leather. That would be rather hypocritical, really.
Re: Listen to the lecture, ask questions
Not that he minded a chance to chatter in French. It was just ... curious.

, and Profiteroles with almond ice cream and chocolate sauce. I hope you enjoy."
What, you thought he was going to cook? He employed a chef for a reason. That reason mainly being he was banned from the kitchen of everyone that knew him.

Re: Eat Hannibal's food!
Of all of the things going on here today, that was probably the one that had Jono the most baffled. The idea of Hannibal not cooking for himself was far stranger than the idea of him teaching fluffy words about spring in French while wearing trousers not unlike the ones he had worn through high school, himself.
//... Did you say almond ice cream?//
DON'T YOU JUDGE HIM. HE'D BEEN TWENTY YEARS WITHOUT A MOUTH.
Re: Eat Hannibal's food!
He smiled at Jono. "Should we start there today?"
Re: Eat Hannibal's food!
Almond ice cream.
Almond ice cream.
//I always was a little backwards.//
Re: Eat Hannibal's food!
He took a small bite, making sure to get some ice cream, pastry, and chocolate in it.
Re: Eat Hannibal's food!
//Good lord, he should be proud of himself, then...//
He was going to just kind of lean against this wall, in no way propping himself up here, honest.
