Even though she was dealing with a bit of a headache, Jessica was still in a chipper mood. She just needed to increase the chipperness. The only thing positivity couldn't fix, after all, was a negative outlook, which could still be fixed with MORE positivity. So a headache could be fixed by a good attitude and some ice cream, provided the ice cream was eaten at a reasonable rate that wouldn't cause brain freeze.

Look, she was a scientist, not a medical expert. Sometimes you were going to have crazy theories. Part of science was experimenting to see if they were accurate. And that's why she was having a sundae tonight. For SCIENCE!

Did Jessica go for the hug? Of course she did. Proportionate hugging of a spider, and those creepy bastards have eight damn legs to hug you with and never allow you to sleep ever again.

"Apparently I'm a little different than the Jessica who usually goes to school here. Weird, I know. What are you doing here?" she asked.
