Vampire, werewolf, or boring old human -- Jack had to get to work no matter what. (Though he did, perhaps, arrive rather later than Tiny and the DJ were used to, what with the sun situation.)
He busied himself taste-testing the bar's stock of artificial blood. Someone had decided to make a bottle spiked with hot peppers; that was Not Okay. But cinnamon spice was good. he'd have to order more of that when he got home, too.
