It had completely escaped Rilla's mind the last few weeks that she had a job, and so today she was in a flurry of guilt-induced housekeeping (because while Anne had taught her to keep a neat space, it didn't mean that Rilla especially enjoyed the experience).

She flew around the space, duster in hand, and hoped that Bruce wasn't too upset about her dereliction of duty.
