It had been a restless night, and a groggy morning but Stiles managed to make his way to work. Where there was sweet, blessed coffee. Only it was kind of tainted because someone bought weird creamer. Caramel churro sounded great in theory, but tasted like ass when you actually used it. Ugh.

That's why you stick with normal flavour a like Thin Mint and Baileys Irish Cream, Stiles.

"What's wrong with the coffee?" Derek asked, putting down a bag of sushi. Because tuna was oceanic red meat. And he was apparently cycling through the restaurants on island. Next up? Italian.

"It's cop coffee." You just be glad it wasn't powdered creamer. That stuff is Satan's baby powder.

"It's gross," Stiles said, flopping down on his desk. "I'm so tired."

Derek sighed, looking up at the ceiling like it would help. "Do you want me to get you a soda?"

"You don't have to." But he'd like it if you did.

You are just so lucky that Derek was whipped.

He rolled his eyes, turning to find the vending machine that just had to exist there. Hope Stiles enjoyed a cool, off brand name soda. Because that's what he got. Derek put one on the desk for Stiles, keeping another for himself.

Stiles still had his head on the desk but he could hear the can being placed on the desk. "Thank you."

At that, Derek grabbed the offending coffee to give a sniff. It didn't smell awful, so he took a sip. Then spit back into the cup before tossing the whole thing in the trash. "I think it destroyed my tongue."

Stiles laughed and poked his head up. "That was a little dramatic, don't you think?"

Stiles smiled and opened up the bag Derek brought. "Aww you brought me sushi."

"I was hungry," Derek countered, taking a seat so he could chug his soda until the 'churro' taste was gone.

Stiles rolled his eyes. "So you're here because...? You like eating your lunch in front of me? And you happen to bring enough for two?"

"It's to keep you from falling over at work because you forgot lunch."

Derek grabbed his own container of sushi, ignoring the provided chopsticks because nope nope nope. "I talked to my therapist about us."

Stiles wasn't using his chopsticks either. No way he was coordinated enough for that. Instead he was using his fingers. Classy.

"Oh?" That could be either good or bad. "Is that...good?"

"It's a thing," Derek settled on. "He wanted me to talk to you about the whole... other me thing."
