With whatever the hell those last few weeks had been all over with finally, Dean was more than happy to have a nice, quiet day at the diner.

Okay, so he was happy to just have a burger. Don't you judge him for eating on the job. You would to if you worked here and... were Dean.

A Salad, I guess


Dean really needed to learn not to dictate the specials to the cooks. They didn't like it and used it against him.

So it'd now been two days since Dinah had texted. Two days of Priestly procrastinating on replying, primarily by drinking. Dean had terrible taste in whiskey, but at least he had a lot of it, right?

This all added up to Priestly sitting disconsolately at the diner counter, hungover, craddling a cup of coffee, and staring at his phone. It was basically just a slight variation on the moping he'd been doing since getting back from the warehouse last Sunday.

Really, you'd think after this long living in Fandom, he'd have better coping mechanisms.

Dean rolled his eyes, loudly letting a plate of runny eggs and greasy bacon hit the table next to Priestly's head.

Priestly set down the phone long enough to pick up a butterknife and poke suspiciously at the runny eggs. "There is nothing to be chinned up about." He considered the usefulness of the butterknife as a weapon if Dean decided to steal more bacon, then flung it away when he realized he was totally thinking about stabbing his roommate. "Everything is horrible."

Drama queen.

Was it possible Priestly was still slightly drunk? Because pointing out he was drinking all of Dean's alcohol right after noting how creepy Dean was wasn't the most brilliant idea he'd ever had.
