The Arms Hotel, Saturday
As if criminals in Baltimore were going to take a night off just because yesterday was Good Friday. Nikolai was tired at work again today, and sporting a few new bruises that he would be more than happy to lie about, today at the Arms. He was in a pretty good mood, though. His 'mug the mugger' mindset meant that he had a few extra bucks in his pocket today, and, not seeing himself heading back to LA any time especially soon, he was actually contemplating getting a tattoo or something.
So, his tired Easter weekend hotel shift today was mostly just spent browsing the internet for tattoo ideas that didn't look stupid, while Gunther occasionally wandered in to give his two cents on the whole thing.

Egg in a Potato Nest
Eggs Benedict
Ambrosia Crêpes
Nikolai was ignoring the eggy specials today in favor of poking through snippets of Ovid, instead. There was a smug sort of appeal in phrases like, 'Lack of courage, not the power of the Gorgon, freezes you.' And really, Nikolai had nothing against being blatant.
