It was days like this that made Mary miss the predictability of Las Vegas, where the only strange thing she might have to deal with was a high roller who wanted to fill his hot tub with champagne.

"How the heck could a single suite be infested with geckos? I live in this hotel, and I've never seen a single gecko. Heck, I don't think I've even seen geckos on this island," said Mary as she took in what her head housekeeper told her. "At least the Jello Dragon suite wasn't in demand this weekend. Just find a way to get rid of those geckos without them spreading out all over the building."
