A flock of pigeons had gotten into the store. Liara wasn't sure how, nor would she be entirely capable of giving you the species of the birds, but she did know one thing: they were out for nesting material.

"No! No, do not go near that-- that is a priceless volume!"

The books would make it through the day intact. But poor Liara would wind up with pigeon droppings all over her crest. Sigh.
