Graduation Brunch, The Park, Sunday Morning

Now that everyone had survived graduation, it was time to celebrate with brunch foods!

Shhh, tasty traditions were important.

There were tables and chairs set up in the park, along with a buffet of moddable brunch foods. Hopefully, anyone nursing a hangover or multiple hickeys could hide that business in front of their loved ones!

When Alec arrived, he looked around the park, wondering if he was going to start feeling nostalgic for this place in his last few days here or anything silly like that.

But he didn't. All he felt was hungry.

Riley didn't have any guests but hey, he was game to enjoy the nice weather and maybe enjoy the food too. So, he was out there, wandering around.

Isabelle was here, of course. To enjoy some brunch, scope out some attractive visitors, and maybe catch a moment or two with her own family.

She just looked obnoxiously cheery about being here. It was her thing when she was in an okay mood.

Bay was in a good mood this morning. High school was over, Toby was being chill about the gnome attack, and she had at least a couple more weeks on the island before she headed back to KC. She smiled vaguely at the crowd, hoping the most exciting part of her weekend was over.

Nothing helped recovering from sentient gnomes like pancakes, just saying.

Yeah, Topher's head was pounding, but he was here anyway. Not to see any guests -- he always told his parents not to bother coming to this kind of thing -- but for the free food. As he understood it, there wouldn't be nearly as much free food in college.

Natalie was still here. That probably wouldn't be the case for very long, but... Yeah, she was here, enjoying what the tables of free food had to offer. Maybe using pancakes to soothe the vague feeling of being on edge that she had.

Things were just weird.

Jack was up early anyhow, so she'd stopped by the park at the end of the run. There were a couple students she wanted to congratulate, anyhow.

And, of course, there were waffles. Lots of waffles.

It didn't matter how long it had been since Clint had no money - free food was never going to be something he turned down, especially if it involved bacon. Don't mind him filling his plate as much as possible.

Ben was filling up on an enormous amount of bacon breakfast foods at the buffet--which would be a surprise to absolutely no one who knew him.

Susan was back to poking at the food and muttering under her breath about the wasteful habits of Yankees. There was enough here to feed Glen St. Mary's for days.

Flick had made himself wake up early enough that he wouldn't be missing any free food. Sure, he could afford his own food but he'd never be turning down something he didn't have to pay for.

He loaded up his plate and took a seat at a table, putting his feet up in one of the empty chairs.

Sheriff Stilinski didn't want to think too hard one why Stiles ditched out on them last night (though there were no hard feelings about it), but he was pretty excited to see the new graduate at brunch today.

He was eating all the bacon before it could be snatched out of his hands.

Having a quiet brunch with his mother was...unexpected. Not unwelcome but Jim didn't really know how to act. Sure, they talked a bit but it was mostly insane small talk even if he could sense his mother wanted to ask more.

She didn't though so they continued to eat quietly and talk occasionally.

Stiles wasn't too far behind his father and Scott. He was freshly showered and looked to be in a fantastic mood. And had what might have been the world's largest hickey peeking out of his shirt collar.

Seriously, break out the measuring tape because this one might need to get sent to Guinness.

He knew it was there (how could you not) but short of wearing a turtleneck or scarf in April there was no way of hiding it. So he was just pretending it wasn't there as he sat down at the table his father and Scott were at.

Sam was still hanging out around the island for reasons he wasn't quite sure of. But, he was there and he had food. Maybe he was waiting for Brooke to pop out of wherever she went when she was doing her ghost thing to whine about not being able to eat again.

Will didn't even know if he'd make it to his graduation but he still couldn't help feeling slightly...melancholy that his parents would never get to experience something like this.

Well, his mother, at least. He was still unsure about his dad. He stayed on the fringes, sipping something cold.
