Freedom Arms- Wednesday

Everything was annoying. The lack of pulse weapons was annoying. The arrangement in the displays was annoying. Being on this planet in general was annoying. The only thing that was making Aeryn marginally less angry today was cleaning guns.

So, yeah, if you want to deal with a pissier-than-normal ex-soldier who worked in a gun shop today... best of luck to you, buddy.

Flash had been here for a while, but you know what wasn't here? A lot of the guns that he needed for Agent Venom work. So he made his way over to the weapon's shop, constantly checking to make sure nobody was following him. It just seemed like somebody was, you know?

"Ex-excuse me?" he said once he entered.

Aeryn rolled and put the gun- unloaded!- down a tad more roughly than necessary. "Okay. Which one do you want?"

Aeryn looked at the display, grabbed one, and handed it to him butt-first. "That should do it."

To be fair, she knew the product well enough to grab the one she knew would be best, even if it looked random.

"And you're sure about that?" Flash asked as he started looking the weapon over. It felt good in his hand and the safety was easy to access, which were his other two main checkmarks for a weapon today. "As long as you're sure, I'll take it."

"Oh crap, I didn't upset you, did I?" Flash asked as he tried to figure out how many times she could shoot him before the symbiote could armor him up. "I'm sorry I'm sorry!"

"Stop apologizing," Aeryn said, shaking her head. She gave him a quick but thorough rundown on the finer points of the gun and said, "is that what you want or not?"

She made an "ugh" sound under her breath and ran his card through the machine, then handed him the receipt to sign like these seconds were precious and she was wasting them.

Waiting periods? What waiting periods?

"Thank you!" Flash said as he signed the receipt quickly, grabbed the gun, and rushed out of the store way faster than you might have thought was likely.
