The Perk, Saturday afternoon

After last weekend, Flash figured he still had a few amends to make. And that's why he stopped into the Perk to order a tea. WHATEVER TEA THEY HAD, IT WAS OKAY, REALLY. Between reassuring the barista that whatever they had was fine, he also left a very large tip and took his drink outside.

It was a nice day anyway. Being outside where the barista wouldn't be eying him was a great idea.

Aeryn had been passing by and hadn't planned to stop, but then she saw the skittish guy from last week.

"Oh. It's you."

"Well, it's not a terrible day," Aeryn reasoned. "If it was, that might be reason to yell."

Because let's face it, angry!mood crystal!Aeryn wasn't that different than regular Aeryn on a bad day.

"Glad to hear the first part," Flash said. He didn't know that about Aeryn's moods, but she seemed nicer today, at least. Maybe it helped that she didn't have a bunch of guns all around her. "I'm Flash, by the way. I'm not sure I had a chance to mention that when I fled your store."

Yeah, Flash couldn't judge. He had a small arsenal hidden in his symbiotic clothing.

"I'll keep that in mind," Flash said. "And I'll be sure to stop in sometime when I'm not magically terrified. You seem to know what you were talking about with the weapons in the store."

"It's weaponry. I'd be terrified if someone didn't know what they were talking about," Aeryn said. "That's how accidents happen."
