The Magic Box, Monday
First thing Surreal did when she got in today was toss a few balls of witchlight near the floor and grab the broom, so she could sweep up any teeny shards of glass that might be waiting for an unwary foot, or bits and boobs of spell components that people really should not be inhaling.
Once that was settled to her satisfaction, she set about making herself a pretty pretty poison locket. Because it was pretty. And she didn't need to be a Widow to know her poisons.
The Magic Box was openand ocd-free, and if you asked nicely, Surreal might make a locket for you, too.

player failone thing and another, he hadn't quite made it in. All there was to do was to apologize and hope it didn't mean he'd lost his job before even starting it."Hello?" he began, once he found the dark-haired girl. "I'm Anders. Is Rinoa about?"
He was curious as to what she was doing; it looked risky, and more than a little fun.

"I'm a mage," he answered, with a little shrug. "I was at the Ferelden Circle for four years and this seemed the best way to keep in practice while I'm on the island. But I do need cash."

Baklava, Cara, it was called baklava.

Pish, like Surreal knew it was called baklava. Usually she just pointed, or told the bakers she wanted two of everything.

She let go of the bag once Surreal had a good grip on it. "Maybe I just like living dangerously," she said, grinning. "You'll share without me even having to trade favours first?"
As if she needed an inducement for that...ever.

Like either of them ever needed an inducement for that.

"If I wanted you to stop abusing it I'd change the locks," Cara said, having absolutely no intention of doing so. "We can go as soon as you finish your shift. Unless you'd like to leave earlier."
Because Rinoa would totally appreciate Cara stealing her employees away during the work day.

Breaking and entering was her third favorite pastime, after all.
"Sadly, sugar, I can't cut and run today. But I'm free after work, or, you know, the rest of the week. Except for one particular hour..."

Most supportive girlfriend ever.
"That one hour when you have to serve a terribly hard taskmaster," Cara finished for her. "I don't know how you manage it."
