Storms for the ass end of the week meant that Nikolai hadn't really bothered to go out looking for assholes causing trouble in Baltimore the past few nights. But the weather tonight seemed like it would be something edging into 'decent,' and so he was alternating his usual hotel desk duties with going over the gear in his supply belt, making sure he had everything he'd need on his person for a run into the city tonight.

First aid gear... check. Zip-ties, check. A spare pair of goggles and another spare pair of mirrored shades, just in case? Yep. And he'd check to make sure there were extra roadside flares in his motorbike's saddlebags before setting out tonight.

All in all, it made for a pretty quiet Nikolai during the Saturday shift at the Arms Hotel. Gunther wasn't about to complain.
