Fandom Post Office, June 24 (Tuesday)
It was a good thing that Éponine had made up her mind to finish her delivery route as quickly as possible this morning, because she had a new book to read and wanted to get back to it as soon as she could. She'd dropped off her last few bundles of mail and was wandering back toward the post office, thinking of stopping by the Perk to get a frozen mint mocha, when a giant dog spotted her and started galloping her way.
It was only by virtue of being scrawny enough to squeeze into the narrow gap between two buildings -- barely -- that she managed to get away from it, and even then it took a good half hour or so of waiting for it to lose interest in her (and she had no idea why it took that long, even) before she could wriggle out and get back to the post office as fast as possible.
So now she was back inside, with her book but sadly without any coffee, and if you wanted her to go back outside for a delivery or anything else today, you'd better make it worth her while.
[OOC: OCD-free due to sobusyimightspontaneouslycombust, but open. Blame
suitablyheroic for saying I could.]
