Nikolai came down to the hotel lobby to see a small pack of gremlins grilling sausages on a portable outdoor grill. And Nikolai, being the sane individual that he was (and having been bitten by gremlins being jerks before) opted to keep his distance.

He supposed he couldn't fault them that much.
