Anders got to the shop early, whistling to himself a bit. The whistling stopped when he realized the shop was full of pumpkins, bunches of straw, and other harvest decorations.
On the one hand, it made a nice change from the skeletons and candles. On the other ... it was still August. "Rushing things a bit, aren't you?" he asked no one in particular, and set to work arranging the pumpkins in an attractive pyramid. If they weregoing to be there, they might as well look nice.
