The Perk - Wednesday Morning
After the last phone call from home, Vic had done her best not to call or text as often since apparently her Wyoming moved at a snail's pace as compared to Fandom.
However after getting a coffee at the Perk and texting Ferg, she was surprised to see a reply text which read:
Ferg: Can't talk. Going to rez hospital. Sheriff had to stitch up Branch with his fishing tackle
Which caused her to shout a couple of colorful swear words and spill her coffee. And get strange looks from the barista.
"Just give me another coffee. Don't look at me that way. There are people on this island who are way stranger than me."
She settled down with her new cup of coffee and stared at her phone, pondering what to do.
[Open. And somehow I have nothing to do at work. Amuse me!]
