Fandom Post Office, December 16 (Tuesday)
Having a job that entailed spending a lot of time outdoors meant that when the weather was bad, Éponine ended up soaking wet a lot. (She was at least used to that, if not any more fond of it now than she'd ever been.) On days like today, though?
By the time she came in from the morning round of deliveries and was scurrying around the post office lobby restocking the triplicate forms, dripping a faint trail of melted snow behind her, she resembled a demented camouflage pattern. That, at least, amused her; every now and then she'd catch a glimpse of her own arm and the random obnoxiously-colored splotches that covered it, and have to pause for a second or two just to laugh.
