Fandom Post Office, Tuesday (February 3)

Despite the myriad little, random, odd things that kept happening today -- the one mailbox that sang scraps of operatic arias very loudly every time someone opened it, the way one corner of the mailroom smelled very strongly of cinnamon, or the small cluster of gremlins that she had to step over every time she needed to go outside, who were determinedly building a fort out of hot chocolate packets in the employee break room -- the thing that was preoccupying Éponine the most today was how there was an entire blank row at the bottom of the February calendar page. What? That didn't happen very often.

So clearly, she had to mark the occasion by doodling in said blank row, a mixture of flowers and jagged, half-abstract skylines that looked like they came out of someone's surreal dream. They weren't half bad doodles, all things considered.

Just maybe a slightly disturbing combination of themes.
