Allie was grateful that the cold didn't bother her any longer. Otherwise the walk over would have been extremely unpleasant.
Since Tiny was huddled near the fireplace, Allie took his place behind the bar and started looking up drink recipes on her phone. Now that her paperwork said she was twenty-one she could actually function as a bartender, not just as a tiny bouncer.
She felt vaguely edgy, but hadn't quite realized why yet.
